CoreTechs Staffing Cycling Team* is a Masters race team based in Northern California. You can usually find CoreTechs riders on one of the Peninsula's many group rides and at most the Nor Cal NCNCA races.

The team is made up of people with no illusions and get this is all for fun. Kids and life seem to dominate our time. We understand that there is no pro contract in our future. That said, we do ride as hard as our talent level allows! Right now we are made up of 35+ and 45+ Cat 1/2/3's,  a 4's team and few 5's (new racers) that are very motivated to race and upgrade. We love riding and love the competition of this sport.

The team is motivated and rides hard, but do our best to have a blast on all our rides. We ask our riders to be positive and not be "that guy" on the group rides or at races. You know that guy. He is the one telling everyone else what they are doing wrong and that they should ride someplace else. We don’t want to be "that guy".

We see the team's role as being an avenue to increase our riders enjoyment and help give support to each other during rides and races. When we race, and we do often, we use team tactics. We don’t have designated domestiques on our team, but we all are willing to become one in an effort to help a teammate do well.

The team is not meant as a "for profit" organization, so any money the team makes is donated to our favorite charity. The charity we chose to support is the Lucile Packard Foundation, which runs the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital. All money we make goes towards this organization.

So, racing, riding and doing a bit of good.
